In the first year of the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan, under the support of the national development strategy for science and technology, digital economy, new infrastructure and double circulation development have become the key words to promote China’s economy. As the largest urban agglomeration of Bay Area in the world, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao have always been the forerunner and leader of China’s digital economy and has built the leading digital economy industry ecology in China.

On April 29 and 30, the First Bay Area Digital Economy Industrial Development Forum and IDCC2021 Shenzhen Session (the “Forum”) was held in Shenzhen. The Forum was hosted by Data Center Committee of China Communications Industry Association, Shenzhen Digital Economy Industry Promotion Association, and organized by Guangdong Data Center Industry Alliance, Organizing Committee of China IDC Industry Annual Ceremony, and co-organized by China IDC.

In order to showcase the features of technology enterprises in the Greater Bay Area and to recognize the outstanding contributions made by many enterprises in consolidating the foundation and development of China’s digital economy, the Forum has specially set up two awards: “Award for the Cornerstone of Digital Transformation in the Greater Bay Area” and “Award for Leader of Digital Infrastructure Technology of the Greater Bay Area”.  Enterprises that have supported the building of digital infrastructure and digital transformation in providing technical expertise, solution proposals and basic infrastructure are sincerely invited to witness the arrival of a new starting point together.

Cornerstone Award for Digital Transformation in the Bay Area

Digital transformation is a new driving force for the sustained growth of China's economy.
